ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOUC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) p.m. First Friday Mass will be tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock. Holy Communion will be distributed from 6:15 ajn. as usual, at 11:45 a.m., at 5:15 p.m., and again at 6:00 pan. First Saturday Mass will be at 8 o’clock, with distribution of Holy Communion from 6:15 in the morning as usual and again at 11:45 a.m. The hour for St. Christopher men at the Nocturnal Adoration, Blessed Sacrament Chapel, 14th and Meridian streets, is from 3:00 to 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Men are invited to call John Ruthven, president of the Holy Name Society, and make up car pools and do down. There will be a free day at St. Christopher school tomorrow. Thursday, October 4th, is the Feast of St. Francis, and our Franciscan Sisters are allowed a free day on this day, but they will celebrate Friday. Before the Ladies Party tomorrow night, fish, ham, and our own cheese spread sandwiches will be sold at Carry-Out in the school social room, south door. The place of the parish dance Saturday night, October 6th, has been changed from St. Christopher social room to the new Holy Family Council of K. of C., 220 Country Club Road. Our winning Kick-ball Cadets met defeat Monday night here at the hands of St. Patrick, 9 to 2, but they hope to square themselves by beating Nativity here, Friday night, October sth, at 4:15 p.m. Our Lady of Fatima Discussion Group met with Jean Schrader Monday night, October Ist, at 8:30 p.m. Jackie Bailey was hostess Tuesday evening, October 2d, to the Ave Marie Group at 8 o’clock. An Anniversary High Mass was sung on Monday morning at 8 o’clock for John Brauer at the request of Helen Brauer and children. Lillian Such was remembered in the High Mass on Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Grate requested the Mass. The Mass yesterday morning was sung for John L. Heron at the request of his wife, Elizabeth, and children. Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Sinkovic requested that the 8 o’clock Mass this morning be sung for Louise Bador. Tomorrow morning the Mass will celebrate the twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Harry and Louise Grothe. An Anniversary Mass will be sung on Saturday morning for Barth Riedy at the request of Wilbur and Helen Riedy.

Krannert Square Dance Lessons Square dance lessons for teenagers is one of the features of the new Fall recreational program now getting underway at Krannert Memorial YMCA, 605 South High School Road. Instruction is from 8 until 10 p.m. on Monday. Classes are open to all westside teen-agers whether Y members or not— at a nominal fee. Young people interested in the eight-week course, designed to provide all the basic fundamentals of square dancing, can register with Don Lohmann, executive secretary, or Charles Bolyard, youth director.
