Open Mouse The Christian Family Movement and the Legion of Mary units of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 560 N. Rural Street, Indianapolis, will sponsor an Open House in the parish church for Catholics and non-Catholics on Sunday, October 7th, from 1 to 4:00 p.m., in a spirit of friendliness and community brotherhood. Members of the church and the parish clergy will be on hand to explain the church furnishings and ceremonies. This will afford an opportunity for many nonCatholics to get a first-hand, closeup view of the inside of a Catholic church, and for many Catholics and non-Catholics to have explained to them the sacred vessels, the different vestments, and altar appointments, and their doctrinal meaning and use in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and other Catholic services. Explanation will be given on the confessional, the meaning of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and other Catholic devotions. Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament at 4:00 pm. will conclude the program. The public is invited, and there axe no donations. Ample off-street parking will be available.
