ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1> August 31st, at the downtown Knights of Columbus on N. Delaware. Dancing will begin at 9:00 p.m. to Ray Cooper’s orchestra. A City-Wide dance for the Junior CYO will be tomorrow night from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Msgr. Downey Knights of Columbus. Elsie Ann was born August 15th, on the Feast of the Assumption, at St. Vincent hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. and 2 oz. Her five brothers, Ricky, Greg, Mark, Paul, and Matthew think she is just the finest thing that ever was. An Anniversary High Mass was said for Eugene John Deardorf at 8 o’clock on Monday morning at the request of Mr. and Mrs. John Deardorf and family. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Daley requested the Mass be said on Tuesday morning for the speedy recovery of Father Lindemann. Joseph Cohen was remembered in the Mass on Wednesday morning. Eleanor Deal requested the Mass. The Mass this morning was for Richard Wheasler at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wheasler. Tomorrow morning the Mass will be said for Helen Strack according to the intentions of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ridge. Friends and relatives are offering the Mass on Saturday morning for Joseph Hoffman. Last week the Masses were said in thanksgiving honoring St. Martin de Porres by the James O’Hara family; for Villiers A. Eacret at the request of Mrs. Margaret Eacret; for Mary Catherine Parker according to the intention of Gus Rosner; for Steven Earl Hensler by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Deery; for Helen Strack by neighbors; and Saturday for Donald Ellison at the request of the Marguerite Ellison family. St. Christopher Mixed Bowling League has room for couples who would be interested in bowling on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Speedway Bowling Lanes.
