Allison Establishes Market Planning Section Creation of a market planning section at the Allison Division of General Motors was announced by Dimitrius Gerdan, manager of Aircraft Engine Operations. Heading up the new group will be Roy M. Acker, formerly of GM’s Defense Research Laboratories, where he was in charge of similar activities. Mr. Acker will report to E. M. Mr. Acker, a graduate of the University of Chicago, joined General Motors in 1961 as head of the Defense Research Laboratories’ technical information section. From 1959 to 1961, he was chief of the Army Chemical Corps’ advanced planning division. Mr. Acker holds a Department of the Army citation for “exceptional contribution to the advancement of the research and development programs of the Army” and on two occasions has received decorations for meritorious civilian service.

A native of Chicago, Mr. Acker is married and has two sons. His family will move to Indianapolis from Birmingham, Michigan, in the near future. ed up the TB infection anywhere. A child who has been infected with TB germs, can be treated with isoniazid, the anti-tubercu-losis drug, to prevent active disease from developing. If the child already has X-ray signs or other symptoms of active disease, treatment is essential, usually with two or more drugs, not only to clear up the TB, but to prevent such life-threatening complications as meningitis (inflammation of the covering of the brain and spinal cord), and miliary tuberculosis (TB spread throughout the body.)

Frozen Fruit Salad A unique do-ahead version of a cottage cheese and fruit salad. Combine 1 cup cream-style cottage cheese, 1 cup drained cut pineapple, 1 cup halved strawberries, 1 cup drained cut cairned freestone peaches, and 2 sliced bananas. Add your favorie chopped nuts, quartered marshmallows and a dash of salt. In a separate bowl, add % cup mayonnaise to 1 cup whipped cream, then fold cream into the cheese and fruit. Spread the mixture in 2 refrigerator trays and freeze until firm. Each tray serves 4 to 5.

ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) The regular schedule of worship services - Sunday Church Schools continues this Sunday. Baby sitting facilities are provided from 9-12 a.m. Departmental staff meetings will be held this week for all of those who are teaching and assisting in Vacation Church Schools, which will be held from July 23-August 3. Kindergarten teachers meet Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.; Junior teachers on Tuesday evening at 8:00; and Primary teachers on Wednesday evening at 8:00. All groups will meet at the church. Church Council will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. in the Junior Department. Speedway Alcoholics Anonymous gathers the same evening at 8:30 in Fellowship Hall. The Fellowship Committee is sponsoring an ice cream social for the entire congregation on Thursday, July 12, from 8-10:30 p.m. in the parking lot.
