Boys may register for the Peanut Baseball League for ages 6-7-8 at Main Park at 9:00 on Monday, June 11; at 22nd Street diamond at 10:00 on the same day and at Meadowood at 11:00 on June 11th also. The first practice session will be as follows: Main Park, Monday, June 11 at 1:00: Meadowood, 9:00 June 12: 22nd Street, 1:00 on June 12. Erickson of 5856 Buick Dr. Mrs. Nesbit and sons, Gene and Glen, left by jet yesterday to join Mr. Nesbit at Tucson, Arizona where they’ll make their new home. Mr. and Mrs. James Sprinkles, 1129 N. Somerset, announce the birth of a son Robert Edwin, 6 lb. 2 oz., born Tuesday, May 29th at the St. Vincent’s Hospital. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Stierwalt, Sr., and Mrs. Chester Sprinkles of California, formerly of Speedway. Dave Blase won the North American Bicycle Road race championship Saturday, May 26. It was run from Detroit to Battlecreek, Mich. Entrants included riders from U. S., Canada and Mexico. Dave rode this distance of 125 miles in 4 hours and 56 minutes, establishing a new American record. Mrs. Ocea DeLapp fell last Friday and broke her hip. She is to have an operation Thursday and is in room B-353 at the Methodist Hospital.
