ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from their three-day holiday. \ All committee members are asked to attend a meeting on tomorrow night, June Ist, at 7:30 p.m. in the school social room to make final arrangements for Father Lindemann’s 40th anniversary celebration. Reservations can still be mailed in for the dinner, June 10th. Saturday is First Saturday. Remember the promise of Our Lady of Fatima for those who keep the First Saturdays. On Saturday, June 2d, the children of St. Christopher will make a house to house S. & H. Green Stamp Drive in Farley Addition from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Tell all your friends. Ernest Diller, an elderly boy, of 2715 E. Troy Avenue won the much “wished for” autographed peddle race car Sunday at St. Christopher. Members of the Altar Society will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 8 o’clock Mass Sunday, June 3d. The regular monthly meeting of the Altar Society will be on Tuesday evening, June sth, instead of Wednesday night. The Bth grade graduation will be on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. in the church. Girls of both 4th grades and their mothers are invited to attend a movie on Physical Development to be shown by' the American Red Cross at the school on the last day of school after classes. High school instructions have ended for this school year. During the summer months, Junior CYO will have two meetings a month . . . in the third Sunday, all teenagers will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 8 o’clock Mass, but no breakfast afterwards until Fall .. . and on the last Tuesday, a Teenager’s Holy-Half Hour is planned, after which confessions will be heard. Outgoing and incoming officers of the Altar Society met with Father Lindemann in the rectory Monday at 12:30 p.m. to formulate plans for this year’s summer festival —July 26, 27 and 28th. This Sunday night, June 3d, at 7:30 p.m. the outgoing and incoming officers of the Holy Name Society and the Trustees will meet with Father Lindemann in the school social room for the same purpose. At eight o’clock on Monday morning, an Anniversary High Mass was said for John Craig at the request of the family. He was known in Speedway as Jack Craig. Grace Haney and daughters requested that the Mass on Tuesday morning be said for John Haney. Yesterday the Mass was said for the safety of the race drivers. This morning, a holy day of obligation, the Mass is for the members of St. Christopher. John Heron will be remembered in the Mass tomorrow morning at the request of the Heron family. It is his birthday. On Saturday morning, the Mass will be for the living and deceased members of the parish.
