Red Cross First Aid Telecourse On Saturday, May 26, 1962, at 12:30 p.m., the first session of a Red Cross first aid telecourse will be presented over WFBM-TV, Channel 6. The half-hour sessions will be given for eight consecutive Saturdays. This first session will cover “What is first aid?” Special attention will be given to types of WOUNDS, how to prevent them, and how to care for them with emphasis on bleeding control. Viewers are urged to purchase a telecourse first aid kit consisting of a Red Cross First Aid textbook, a workbook with questions to be answered, and bandages for practicing by sending SI.OO to the Indianapolis, Indiana Red Cross Chapter, 1126 North Meridian Street. Hiking Club The Indianapolis Hiking Club will be host for the Annual TriState Meeting of Hiking Clubs to be held at Happy Hollow Camp in Brown County on May 26, and 27. The American Walkers Association of Cincinnati and the Louisville, Kentucky, Hiking Club will be part of the group, expected to number one hundred-fifty. In addition to hiking, fishing, boating, and swimming is planned. Saturday night will be highlighted by a Square Dance sponsored by the Louisville Club’s professional Callers. Following this a moonlight hike through Brown County’s Hills will end the evening. Sunday’s program includes an early morning Bird Hike, church services, and other organized hikes, games and independent activities.
