will run from June 18 to July 31. Mr. George Roe will conduct the foreign language program and Mr. Richard Adams the science program. The language program will be for pupils who are now in grades 6,7, and 8. Languages offered will be German and Russian. There will be daily classes which each participant is expected to attend regularly. Those who took Russian last summer will have an opportunity to continue it this summer. Students in grades 7 or 8A who took German jast year may continue with it or may choose Russian. Those who did not participate last year may choose either language. The science program will be for students who are now in grades 7,8, 9, 10, and 11, and will consist of science project work at all levels as well as a special program in science careers for pupils in grades 10, 11, and 12 who have

In athletic events the past week the freshman track squad placed third in the Mid-State Conference Meet, the reserve baseball team lost to Washington 11-1, the freshman track squad was defeated by Fulton 64-44, the varsity track squad placed seventh in the MidState Conference Meet, the varsity baseball team defeated Franklin Central 10-6, the golf team lost to Washington 6% to 5%, the freshman baseball team was defeated by Fulton 4-2, and the junior high track team won from Fulton 63-28.
