The Mass on Saturday morning will be for William Rosner. Dr. Eleanor Deal requested the Mass. Don Nester was elected president at the Junior CYO meeting last week. Serving with Don will be Kathy Martich, vice-president, Barbara Anderson, secretary, and Barney Rosner, sargent-at-arms. Since the vote for treasurer was a tie between Freddie Benedetto and Tom Shinn, another vote was to be taken this week. Lenten Communions are given at St. Christopher at 8 o’clock in the morning, at 8:15, at 7:00, and every 15 minutes thereafter until the 8 o’clock Mass ... then again at 12 Noon. Communion is given on Saturday noon, as well as on school days. Lenten evening services are Mass on Wednesday afternoon at 5:45 and the Way of the of the Cross Friday night at 7:30, followed by Benediction. <i Frances Pella and her committee will have charge of cleaning the church this week. The Ave Marie Discussion Group met with Joan Sommers on Tuesday evening, March 13th. We are sorry that we said last week that letters were being , mailed about the anniversary party for Father Lindemann who will celebrate in June his ordination in the Holy Priesthood 40 years ago. There is to be a party on June 10th, but letters haven’t been mailed yet. Here’s good news for the Stamp Collectors and Boosters of St. Christopher’s new school bus. The children have to their credit now well over 1200 books and the quantity needed has been reduced from 4,175 to 3,650. AU parishioners were asked Sunday to write to 5 of their friends (if they haven’t already done so or to five to whom they haven’t written) and to ask them to send 10 or more trading stamps (Green or TV) to the children of St Christopher school, 5301 W. 16th street, Speedway, Indiana; and to ask these friends to write 5 of their friends to help likewise.
