The Speedway Sparkplugs defeated Greenwood 60-58 in a thrilling double-overtime game played at Speedway last Friday night. This win afforded us the Mid-State Championship in basketball. Speedway has also won Mid-State Championships this year in varsity football and junior high basketball. The Reserve Sparkplugs lost their game to Greenwood 28-26. Results of other games played last week were: Avon 7th Grade 25, Speedway 15 Speedway Bth Grade 55, Avon 23 Avon 9th Grade 38, Speedway 36.
LIBRARY NOTES The High School Library is open four evenings each week for the convenience of students and adults of Speedway. Hours are from 6:30 to 9:00 Monday through Thursday.
