PERSONALS Twenty-two men from Marion County pledged fraternities at Ball State Teachers College. From Speedway is Richard A. Nester, Sigma Delta. Miss E. Jeanette Potter of Speedway City, a student nurse at Indiana Central College School of Nursing, was one of eleven student nurses honored at a banquet of the Central League for Nursing, Wednesday evening (Feb. 7), in Indianapolis. Miss Potter and nine other students were presented silver medallions for their participation in a talent contest of the Central District Student Nurse Association, held in January. Dolphin Club News The Dolphin Club’s Boosters’ Club has planned a roller skating party to be held at Melody Skateland Thursday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m., according to Robert S. Waggoner, who is in charge. Tickets at 50c each, are available from any swim team member or Boosters Club member. Proceeds will go toward purchasing equipment for the swim team. All women Dolphin Club members are invited to attend the strictly social meetings of the Women’s Auxiliary at the club nouse the second Wednesday of each month. Anyone wishing to attend has missed tW meetings or can’t attend that particular date but would like to help with refreshments and guiding tours through the new club house at the Open House Sunday, March 11 may call Mrs. Theodore Delang, WA. 55482, president, or Mrs. John Ansley, WA. 6-4256, vice-president. ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Tomorrow night, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., there will be a Ladies Party at St. Christopher in the school social room. Food and drinks will be served, cafeteria style, all evening. A dollar donation at the door includes food and an opportunity to win a large door prize Junior CYO, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Brownies will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 8 o’clock Mass Sunday morning. A light breakfast will be served after the Mass in the school social room to anyone who wishes to come down. On Sunday everyone will be given the opportunity to help bring the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all men by becoming a member of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. The Association of St. Joseph are sponsoring a card party Sunday afternoon, February 18th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cathedral High School, for the benefit of the Brothers of the Holy Cross. Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Lillian Such who died and was buried from St. Christopher last week. The High Mass on Monday morning at 8 o’clock was said for William Rosner at the request of the Henry Rosner family. An anniversary Mass was said on Tuesday morning for James Ray. Francis Ray and Mary Ann Reinhart requested the Mass. Mary Catherine Parker was remembered in the Mass on Wednesday morning, as requested by Mary Jo O’Hara and Janet Alhand. This morning the Mass was said for Lillian Such. Mrs. Nettie Alteide and Mr. and Mrs. James Keating requested the Mass. Friends of the Eli Lilly Company requested that the Mass on Friday morning be said for Steven Earl Hensler. The Mass on Saturday morning will be said according to the intentions of the Henry Rosner family. Believe it or not, the S. & H. Green Stamp Committee for a New Bus for St. Christopher School tell us that we now have nine hundred books, and quite a few Top Value books to trade for S. & H. books, and some Red Holden books to trade. They hope to hit their 1000 book goal by February 18th. Anyone may help the boys and girls by mailing stamps or taking them over to the parish house or school. No amount is too small or too large for the children to say “thank you and God bless you.”

Mardis Goers Nominated For Annapolis Mardis Coers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Coers, 4966 W. 13th St. received announcement of his nomination as candidate for Annapolis from Donald Bruce and Vance Hartke.
