GIRL SCOUT NEWS Troop 427 practiced tying knots last week. More practice is needed. Had a short business meeting and refreshments were served. We enjoyed it very much. Jan. 17 we had our business and social meeting. The rest of our time was spent learning a folk dance. Mrs. Betty Ward was our teacher and we would like to thank her again and again. We enjoyed it. Carol Winings, Publicity. Troop 656 had their Christmas party December 19 at Patty Brook’s home. We played Bunco then had refreshments and opened our exchange gifts. January 16 we elected new officers. Patty Brooks was elected president; Debbie Burneet, secretary; Sue Grimes, treasurer; Patty Feucht, scribe. the holidays. Some of the things we did were decorate a Christmas tree and caroled at Harris Sanitarium. The girls donated canned goods. We had our Court of Awards at our Christmas Party.
