George Mitchell Joins Lilly George D. Mitchell, Jr., a registered pharmacist in Indiana, has joined Eli Lilly and Company as a salesman in Inglewood, California, announces Paul H. Feucht, manager of the firm’s Los Angeles “West” District. Mitchell suceeds Robert R. Boring, who retired recently. Born in Speedway, Indiana, Mitchell was graduated from Speedway High School in 1954. He attended Purdue University and Butler University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the latter in 1961. Prior to joining Lilly, Mitchell was employed as a pharmacist in Indianapolis. He is a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association.
"Human Growth" Film Mrs. Donald W. Jackson, executive director of the Social Health Association, will present the program “Human Growth” to interested parents and youth leaders at the Speedway State Bank, Friday, December 1, at 8:15 p.m. Several local Girl Scout parents are viewing the film and other interested leaders are invited. The film, which deals with human growth and reproduction, is directed particularly to the junior "high age child. Discussion, led by Mrs. Jackson follows the film.
