Thanksgiving time is bringing several boys of the St. Christopher 1957 grade school graduates home. We learned that Ronald Keller and John Whitmore, Business Administrative at-Jn-diana University, David Houk, Notre Dame, Bruce Davis, Indiana Normal, and Steve Swails, metallurgical engineer major, Purdue, were expected. However, Herman Greenwood, a Business Law major, at Indiana, came home this past week-end, because he is a member of the 100 Marching Band and will have to play for the game Saturday. Bernie Enlow, a Police Administrative major, at St. Petersburg Junior College, Florida, couldn’t make it for Thanksgiving, but will be home Christmas. Three of the boys attending Butler, Donald Ellison, Mike Wagner, pharmacy major, and Frank Sherman, chemistry major, expect to spend the holiday at home, but Ronald Volpatti, was not sure. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Enow attended the Varsity Variety Show at Purdue last Saturday night. Gene Enlow, a junior and Industrial Management major, was in the cast. He did a dancing act in the skit, “A Night in Hades, which his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, put on. All housing units at Purdue were eligible to take part. Gene will be home for Thanksgiving, and is bringing as his house guest, a fraternity brother, Stanely Weld, of Hawaii. The children wish to thank everyone who has given them S. & H. Green stamps or who has mailed stamps in, so as to help them collect enough to get a new school bus, and they are remembering them in their prayers. But, please, keep on sending them. They may be mailed to St. Christopher School or St. Christopher Rectory, Speedway. No amount is too small. The second school bus, which has been without a driver, began running Monday. Pray your Rosary daily for peace in the world. Nora Bray
