last week. Teachers and administrators appreciate this interest on the part of parents. The Speedway Varsity Band will march in the Indianapolis Christmas Parade'this Saturday. Last Saturday the band participated in the Veterans Day Parade. The 1962 Speedette Staff is continuing to take orders for this year’s Speedette. Copies may be reserved by contacting any of the following seniors: Johnnie Crane, Jocelyn Johnson, Stephenie Major, Kathy McGill, Judy Miscoi, and John Staver. T’ Electric Steel Castings Company of Speedway has presented the high school library a check in the amount of SIOO. Electric Steel has made a cash award to the library each year for many years. The varsity and reserve basketball seasons open this Friday night with games at Zionsville. These games are included in the Speedway season ticket. On Saturday night the teams journey to Center Grove. The Center Grove game is not a part of the season ticket.

LIBRARY NOTES The High School Library is open four evenings each week for the convenience of students and adults. Hours are from 6:30 to 9:00 Monday through Thursday.
