Benefit Card Party The Indiana University Women’s Club benefit card party will be Friday evening, Oct. 20th, 7:30 p.m. in the Glendale auditorium. Members, mixed couples and friends are invited to attend. Tickets are sl, with proceeds going to the I. U. Foundation scholarship fund. BULTER HOMECOMING Selection of the 1961 Homecoming queen Friday (Oct. 20) and the football game with St. Joseph’s Saturday (Oct. 21) will highlight Butler University’s annual Homecoming celebration. Crowning the queen will be Dr. M. O. Ross, Butler president. The event is scheduled at 4 p.m. Friday at the Holcomb Carillon. The queen’s first function wiU be to present a plaque to the winner of the Sigma Chi-Phi Delta Theta Chariot race at 4:30 p.m. The torchlight parade at 7, a bonfire and pep rally at 7:30 and a dance at 8:30 are scheduled Friday night. ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) At the 9:00 service this Sunday, Holy Communion wiU be celebrated. Sunday Church School classes for pre-school children will begin at 9:00. Ist, 2nd, and 3rd graders are dismissed from the 9:00 worship service during the sermon hymn; they then proceed directly to their class area. This Sunday 4th through Bth graders will be dismissed right before the Communion part of the service; they too will go directly to their Sunday Church School classes. Senior high youth and adults will have their classes at the conclusion of the worship service. In the adult Sunday Church School class Pastor Bigelow is presently conducting a study particularly directed toward those interested in becoming members of the church. A second worship service is at 11:00 and at the same time Sunday Church School sessions are held for those in grades 1 through 8. A< baby sitting nursery is provided from 9-12 nan. Junior Choir and Confirmation Classes will convene as usual this Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. At 7:00 Intermediate Luther Leaguers wiU enjoy a wiener roast on the church grounds. Speedway Alcoholics Anonymous wiU meet Tuesday, OctobeQ 24, at 8:30 pan., in Fellowship Hall. Senior Choir will rehearse at 7:30 pan., Wednesday, October IS, at the church. Indianapolis Warriors The Indianapolis Warriors, halfway through the United Football League season, play their second home game in as many outings this Saturday (October 21) night at Victory Field. Saturday’s opposition will be provided by the Grand Rapids Shamrocks who own a 28-10 early season victory over the Indianapolis Club. Kickoff time for Saturday’s game is 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Victory Field, the Claypool Hotel ticket office and Hooks Drugs on the Circle.

Next Civic Theatre Production Walter Pippert, local advertising man, plays the title role in “The Captain’s Paradise,” next production at the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, 1847 N. Alabama. The Civic play will open October 20 for a three week-end run. Telephone reservations for the two-act comedy by Alec Cappel started on Thursday, October 12.
