of the month, we are complying with the request of the Blessed Virgin Mary for peace ein the world. Members of the Altar Society will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 8 o’clock Mass Sunday morning. All the ladies of the parish are invited to join with the members of the Society in this corporate reception. They are all asked to please meet in the rear of the church five minutes before eight and walk in a group to the front pews. May crowning services will be held in St. Christopher’s Church Sunday evening, May 7th, at 7:30 p.m. Helen Gordon was chosen by the Bth graders to crown the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Queen’s attendants will be Linda Delph, Kay Brothers, Vicki Mandabach and Jeanne Sellmer. The flower girls chosen for the May procession are Deborah Hartley, Debra Preston, Leslie Vogel, and Kathy Woolery. Patricia Spencer will carry the crown. All the children will march in the May procession. Everyone is invited to this service in which the Virgin Mary as Our Queen and Mother is honored. Sacred Heart Discussion Group will meet Monday night, May Bth, at 8:00 p.m. with Jackie Hess. The High Mass at 8 o’clock on Monday morning was said according to the intention of Mary Aylmard at the request of the Elmer Cooper family. On Tuesday morning, the Mass was for the intention of Sister Rita Jean: on Wednesday morning according to the intention of Sister Catherine Mary: this morning according to the intention of Sister Mary Norman, who is in the hospital: and tomorrow morning according to the intention of Sister Bernadette. Saturday’s 8 o’clock High Mass will be said for the deceased members of the Burkhard and Hansmann families at the request of the John Burkhard family. Congratulations to Mildred and Norb Keller of 1820 Christopher Lane! Mark Allen was bom April 18th at St Vincent hospital He weighed 8 lbs. and 12 oxs. Mark’s older brother, Ronney, will graduate from Cathedral next month and his older sister, Elaine, is a student at St. Mary’s Academy. Mark’s younger brother and sister, Howard and Ann, attend St. Christopher school. Next Thursday, May 11th, is the Feast of Ascension, a Holy Day of Obligation.
