SPEEDWAY MEITMHMST CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) 7:00 p.m., as part of the Church’s observance of National Family Week. Children through the Bth grade plus the Crusaders Choir will be participating in the special program. Fellowship and instruction for incoming members will be held on Sunday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the church. Trustees will meet on Monday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m., at the church. Fellowship of Concern will meet on Tuesday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m.» at the church. Commission on Christian Social Concerns will meet on Wednesday, May 10, at 7:30 pan., at the church. Little Red Door sewing group will meet on Thursday, May-11, at 10:00 a.m., at the church. Official Board will have its monthy meeting on Thursday, May 11, from 7:00-8:00 pan. The 4th Quarterly Conference, with our District Supt. presiding will be held at 8:00 pan. Last Sunday it was our joy to baptize Douglas Paul Miles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miles, of Key West, Florida. Sacrament of Infant and Children’s Baptism will be observed on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14. Parents interested in having their children baptized are asked to call the church office. “Lads and Dads” annual “500” dinner (movies of the *6O 500 will be shown) will be held on Monday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. Men: if you need a son for the dinner, call the church. Boys: if you need a Dad for the dinner, call the church. Please make your reservations after church this Sunday morning or call the church office. Parents Lead The Way—National Family Week is May 7-14 In keeping with this observance, a Children’s Day Program will be held on Sunday, May 7, at 7:00 pan. On Friday, May IS, a Family Night will.be held. A “pitch-in” dinner at 6:16 p.m. will be followed by a Parent-Teachers Meeting in the Chapel.
