Sparkle-aires. The varsity and cadet bands received Ist and 2nd division ratings respectively, in the Indiana Music Association Auditions held at Indiana Central College last Saturday. The varsity band received the first division which is considered a superior rating and the cadet band received the second division which is considered an excellent rating. In the honor roll for the fourth six-weeks’ grading period recently published, the name of Roger Heiser was unintentionally omitted. In athletic contests last week the baseball team defeated Mooresville 13 to 2 on Tuesday and the track squad won from Greenwood 86% to 26% on Friday. LIBRARY NOTES The High School Library is

SPEEDWAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) hour Mr. William Guthrie will be the soloist with the Children’s Chorale participating. At the 11:00 service, the chancel choir will sing. Dr. Montgomery will give the sermons. The chancel bouquet for next Sunday will be given by Mrs. Edith Zink in memory of Mr. William Zink. The bouquet in our chancel last Sunday was enjoyed by Mrs. Hattie Riley and was given by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Henderson in honor of her birthday. At 2:30 Sunday afternoon there will be an orientation meeting and reception for new members of the church, in the Bethany Room. Junior Hi C.Y.F. will meet in Fellowship Hall at 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Mr. William Guthrie, our ad interim Minister of Music, will talk to the young people about his recent trip to the Congo. Refreshments will be served. At 7:00 p.m. in our sanctuary Sunday, the Westview Christian Church will hold a service of installation for Rev. Robert Taylor. A reception will follow in the Bethany Room. The congregation is invited to attend this impressive service. On Monday at 6:30 p.m. all church school workers will be honored at a dinner in Fellowship Hall. Dr. Ray Montgomery will speak. The dinner will be combined with the April Workers Conference and after the program, the teachers will go to their respective planning groups. There will be a Children’s Council meeting for church school superintendents and assistants at 7:30 p.m. in the Bethany Room, Wednesday, April 26th. This is the quarterly meeting for the Children’s Council CHOIRS. Monday, the High School Choir, 7:00 pjn. in the 6th Grade Room. Wednesday, the Angelus Choir, 3:15. Thursday, Children’s Chorale, 2:15; Chapel Choir (boys and girls) 6:30; Chancel Choir, 7:30. The Singletons Class is planning a party and program for Friday, May sth, at 7:30 p.m. Misses Kay Sipple, Wanda Miller and Kitty Hill are in charge of the program. All Post High young people, plan to attend this get-together! Refreshments will be served. NEW MEMBERS. We were happy to welcome into our church membership last Sunday Miss Kandis South, 2339 N.
