Marion County Fish And Game Association Annual Card Party For an enjoyable evening of fun and prizes, keep Saturday, April 22nd open on your calendar and plan on coming out to the Ladies Annual Card Party at 8:00 p.m. in the club house. At our April open meeting, an interesting and educational talk dealing with synthetic gems and especially the gem sapphire which is a single crystal aluminum oxide will be given by Mr. Robert Rudness, a metallurgical engineer of Linde Co. Div. of Union Carbide, Speedway, Ind. The discussion will include the method of manufacture and the properties of the gem stones, such as diamonds and emeralds. There will be a fifteen minute color film showing the Linde Star Sapphire and Star Ruby jewelry which will be of particular interest to the ladies. Mr. Rudness has made an extensive study in the development of synthetic gems. From his knowl-
