ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Masses—6:3o, 8:00, 10:00 and 11:30 o’clock. As is the usual custom in this Diocese on Easter, a special collection will be taken up for the education of young men for the priesthood. No school at St. Christopher on Easter Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday, April 4th, all first grade children who expect to enter St. Christopher school in September must register in the first grade class rooms—boys at 9 o’clock in the morning and girls at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. It is important that the boys and girls be on time. After registration, each child will be given a readiness test. And as announced previously, tiny child whose birthday falls between October 10 and November Ist will have to have a score of 70 or above to be admitted to school in September. On Tuesday, April 4th, pupils entering the Catholic high schools are also required to register at the school of their choice throughout the day beginning at 9 o’clock, and those who have not already done so must take entrance examinations at Cathedral, Christ the King (for Chatard) or Sacred Heart in the morning. Our congratulations to Kenneth and Lorraine Toney, grandparents, on the occasion of the birth of their first granddaughter! They have three grandsons. And our congratulations to Pat and Charles McConaday, the parents, formerly of this parish. Kathleen Marie was bom Monday, March 27th, at 9 a.m. at St. Vincent hospital. She weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. Kathleen Marie has one brother. Ave Marie Discussion Group met with Jackie Bailey on Tuesday evening, March 29th, at 8 o’clock. St. Christopher Junior CYO was city champions in the FreshmanSophomore Division of the recent Table Tennis Tourney.
