These female dogs running loose with male dogs in packs, attack people, destroy property, spread disease and Rabies. Many are injured, killed in fights or traffic, hundreds become lost from their owners, become strays, starve and freeze, and die each year. Every owner should: Respect the rights of others, including the non dog owner; License your dog; Keep your dog under restraint, especially during the rabies quarantine. Rabies is a dread disease both to humans and warm blooded animals. It is a violation of the law to allow a dog to run loose while the State Rabies Quarantine is in effect on Marion County.
