Our congratulations to Jan Wheasler, who is a senior at St Mary’s Academy! Jan won two awards in the seventh annual Junior CYO Style Show held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary auditorium. She won awards in the skirt and blouse and in the party dress divisions. And we wish to correct a misstatement in last week’s column. Mary Toney made her own dress. Mary was one of the winners in the formal and party chess division. Many members of St. Christopher parish are anxiously looking forward to attending an informal reception which is to be held at the Cathedral High School auditorium, Sunday, February 12th, at 8:00 p.m. for Cardinal Joseph Ritter. His Eminence will return to Indianapolis on that day to pay his respects to the people of the Archdiocese, many of whom knew him first at Father Ritter, then Bishop Ritter, and then as Archbishop Ritter. .
