The Speedway Sparkplugs lost for the first time this season to a strong Franklin team by a 73-50 score in a game played at Speedway last Friday night. The Speedway reserves were defeated 48-37. This Friday night the Sparkplugs travel to North Central to meet another team that has only one loss for the season. The Panthers held the first-ranked Kokomo ‘Wildcats to a third quarter tie before losing to them last Friday night. LIBRARY NOTES During the Christmas vacation, the High School Library will be open six evenings from 6:30 to 9:00. The days are December 27, 28 and 29 and January 3, 4 and 5. The library will not be open during the day until school resumes on January 9, 1961.
