HOOSIER CLASSIC Good seats are still available for the Hoosier Classic to be staged December 27-28 in the Butler Ffeldhouse, Ray Gladden, ticket manager, reports. Illinois, Notre Dame, Purdue and Butler will compete in the two-day event. Tickets still remain for eight nights or both sessions. Prices are $2 for single session ducats, $4 for both nights. Three special services will mark the Festival of Christmas at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in their new buildings at 5700 Crawfordsville Road in Speedway. Located adjacent to the new Speedway Shopping Center, the congregation will be observing their first Christmas since moving from their old location at 16th and Beeler Streets. On Christmas Eve, the Sunday Church School will present a musical pageant based on the true meaning of Christmas through the life of Christ. Members of the Church School, the teaching staff, and the Junior and Confirmation Choirs will take part in the presentation. Especially planned for families with children, the pageant will

be held at 8:00 pan., Saturday evening, December 24th. The Annual Candlelight Choral Communion will be held on Christmas Eve at 11410 p.m. with special music furnished by the Senior Choir under the direction of Mrs. John Farley. The Second Setting of the new Lutheran Liturgy will be used with Pastor Bigelow and the congregation intoning the service. Christmas morning, there will be no regularly scheduled Sunday Church School classes at the 9:30 hour. A Festival Communion celebrating the Nativity of Our Lord will be held at the regular 10:45 am. hour.
