day and St. Christopher school will enjoy vacation for the week-end. But during the three days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, preceding the vacation, the children will bring articles of food to fill the Sisters’ pantry shelves for winter. In each school room will be found a basket in which to place these gifts. Since there are many of us who have no-children in school anymore, we may either send our gifts by the school children or take them to the convent. Some Sister will always be there to receive us. It is always such a pleasure to give to our good Sisters at any time of the year. We were sorry to learn that Mrs. Nettie Altheide is in St. Vincent hospital, Room 327, recuperating from another heart attack. We all pray that she will soon be better and home again.
