CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) We misunderstood the date. No school at St. Christopher school tomorrow, November 11th. It is Veterans’ Day. Members of the Holy Name Society will receive corporate Holy Communion at the eight o’clock Mass Sunday morning. Every man in the parish, whether he is a Holy Name member or not, is invited to receive with the others. Breakfast and the regular monthly meeting will follow the Mass in the social room. Mr. Kenneth Thomas is president of the Society. From 7 to 9 Sunday evening, November 13th, St. Christopher school will have an Open House. Parents are invited to come, meet the teachers and learn more about their children’s work and activities. The parents are asked to go first to the room of their oldest child * and pick up their identification cards. After their inspection of the school, they are invited to go downstairs and partake of light refreshments. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lebanon are having their annual Turkey Dinner, Sunday, November 13, in the school hall, corner South street and Indianapolis avenue. Serving will be from 11:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. The Annual Day of Information, especially for non-Catholics who are interested in the teachings of the Catholic church, will be held at Marian College Sunday, November 13th. Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of the brother of Leonard Benedetto who died suddenly Sunday, October 30th, and for the repose of the soul of the brother of Ben Althoff who died and was buried last week in Effingham, Illinois. Junior CYO members and their parents of St. Christopher and Father Terrill, Youth Director, are to be congratulated. At the annual CYO banquet held at Scecina high school last Wednesday, St. Christopher Junior CYO received the Trophy for the outstanding CYO of the year for the third consecutive year. The trophy is now retired and becomes the permanent property of St. Christopher’s boys and girls. At eight o’clock Monday morning the High Mass was offered for Frank Bische at the request of the Walter Bische family. The James Leach family requested the Mass on Tuesday morning be said for Lillian Leach. The Mass on Wednesday morning was said for a special intention. This morning the Mass was offered for the deceased relatives and friends of the parishioners. The Mass tomorrow' morning will be said for Angello Bartelli. The Mass was requested by Mr. and Mrs. Brad Bomba. On Saturday morning the Mass will be said according to the intention of Ora Bowling at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bowling.
