Central Indiana Conference Championship On August 8 and 9, Westwood will be host to the Central Indiana Conference Championship Meet. The heats will begin at 9:00 a.m. each day. This is the third year for this championship event. In 1958, the meet being held at the Miramar Club, Westwood won the Girls’ Trophy but Donner Pool of Columbus won the Boys Trophy as well as the over-all team trophy. The 1959 Meet, held at Bloomington, saw Westwood winning the Girls’ Trophy, and the over-all team trophy. A large number of entries is expected for this affair. The following teams are members of this Conference: Miramar Club, Dolphin Club, Olympia Club, Seymour, Donner Pool of Columbus, Bloomington and Westwood.
