Theatre-ln-The-Woods Casting has been completed for the August production of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” and rehearsals are under way for the second summer production at the Jewish Community Center’s Theater-in-the-Woods, 6701 Hoover Road. Performances are scheduled for Aug. 6,7, 10, 13 and 14 at 8:30 pjn. in the barn theater behind the Center building. Mary Wildhack Hansen will direct the second production. Cast in the play are Jacquie Blumenthal as Maggie the Cat, Mike Murphy as Brick, Dr. J. J. The bouquets in the chancel last Sunday were enjoyed by Mrs. Maggie Hall and by Mrs. Anna Simmons who has now returned from the hospital and is doing fine. SERVICE DAY NOTICE! Ladies of the church and their friends are invited to come and sew on cancer pads for the Little Red Door, Thursday, July 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you can stay through the lunch hour, bring a sandwich. Coffee and rolls will be served as usual. Cancer never takes a vacation, so the need for dressings is constant. Please join the group for a 'day of sewing and good fellowship.
