PLAYGROUND NEWS {Continued from Page 1) and at the James A. Allison School at 3:30 p.m. Beginning Monday, June 20, the following schedule should be followed: Practice at the Main Park on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:30, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Meadowood Park at 10 a.m., and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the James A. Allison School at 1:30 pjn. Each practice session will last about one and one-half hours. The program consists of baseball fundamentals: throwing, catching, batting, and basically how the game is played. All boys are expected to furnish their own gloves, no spikes, and wear a baseball cap. If you did not get to attend the meeting on June 13, please feel free to attend one of the practice sessions listed above. The Story Hour will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at the Main Park and at Meadowood Park. All children are welcome. The storytellers for June 22 at the Main Park are: Jean Paulsen, Jody Hanna, Kitty Kirby, Sue Paulsen, Becky Hunter and John South worth. The Meadowood Park storytellers for June 22 will be Carolyn Edington, Ann Vollmer, Carol Langston, Judy Guidotti, Susan Coll and Jane Robards. We have tried to plan a variety of games this summer that will be enjoyed by all ages. No youngster will be permitted to violate the rules that must be enforced. If repeated violations occur, the youngster will be sent home, and you will be notified by telephone as to the reason. The hours of supervision in the parks will be from 8:30 until noon and from IKK) until 5:00.
