The building firm of Helmer & Sons built St. Christopher school, the ccnvent, and the present church. Mr. Helmer just recently finished building the communion railing at St. Christopher church. i Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Elizabeth Meyer, the mother of William Meyer, who died Monday. Mrs. Meyer was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Jimmy Rosner, the eight year old son of Judy and Jim Rosner of 3301 Chrysler Drive, was hit on the head Monday by a swing in the park playground during noon recess at St. Christopher school. He was rushed to the hospital and five stitches were taken. We are glad that he seemed to be all right Monday night. Jimmy is in the third grade. We hope you continue to get along all right, Jimmy. On Monday morning at 8 o’clock the High Mass was said for Catherine Walter, as requested by Sister Agnes Marie. Catherine Walter was the sister of Sister Agnes Marie who passed away recently. The deceased and living members of the parish were remembered in the High Mass on Tuesday morning. The High Mass on Wednesday morning was offered for the special intention of the Gerald Miller family. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bickle requested the High Mass this morning for Lucy Young. On tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock the High Mass will be said for Leon Dial at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mclntire. William Meyer family have requested the Mass on Saturday morning be said for Elizabeth Meyer. Pupils of the seventh grade attended Sacred Heart Devotions in a body on Wednesday evening. Members of the Junior CYO enjoyed a swimming party at Westwood Club Tuesday evening. The Ave Marie Discussion Group met with Dorothy Krieger on Tuesday evening, May 3d.

John’s had been holding service® now for only two years, and ha® exceeded our best expectations in the growth of our congregation. We are the only Episcopal Church serving the west side of Indianapolis and surrounding west side communities. Regular services are held each Sunday at 83)0 a.m. and at 9:30 aun., with school for the youngsters at 10:05 aan.
