Parents who do not receive the slips may call Chapel 4-3359 after Monday, May 9, and report the information about a child that will be eligible to enroll. During the past week the varsity track squad defeated Danville 66-43 in a dual meet, and then won the Mid-State Conference meet held at Washington High School by scoring 41 points. The highest point total of the other seven participating schools was 33 by Plainfield. The Speedway freshman track squad placed fourth in the conference freshman track meet. In baseball the Speedway reserve team defeated Washington 7-3 and the varsity defeated Center Grove 7-4 and Franklin Township 9-3. The golf team finished eighth in a field of seventeen county, city, and parochial high schools that participated in a golf tourney last week.
