Los Amigos Class will have a pitch-in dinner in Fellowship Hall on Friday, May 13th at 6:30 p.m. Coffee and rolls will be furnished. New officers will conduct the meeting and they are, Marion Farmer, President; Bea Gummere, Vice-President; Mildred Gilmore, Secretary; and Max Davis, Treasurer. Choir practices as usual. Rose on the lectern last Sunday announced the birth of Robert William Ryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ryan, born April 19th. Congratulations. We were happy to welcome back into our church fellowship last Sunday, Mr. Thomas Tsareff, Jr. and wife, Barbara. They transferred their membership from Baldwin Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Indianapolis Ski Club Approximately 80 members of the Indianapolis Ski Club gathered at the Indianapolis War Memorial April 27 for the final winter meeting of the season. The members were entertained by the movies of Dr. William Browning, 2275 Wynndale Rd., Indianapolis, showing many scenes from the clubs recent European Ski trip. Ski Club events for the past season included five ski trips to Michigan ski resorts, a group trip to Aspen, Colorado, a trip to Austria, Switzerland, Germany and France, six meetings featuring ski films and talks, and a holidays open house. These trips were all discussed at the informal session following the meeting and much contemplation for next years events were expressed. The third annual summer picnic will be held June 25th and winter meetings will be resumed again in October. Club president, Ray Ronan, announced that the newly elected officers were working to set up another active schedule for next seasons activities.

Siple To Speak At Butler Dr, Paul A. Siple, noted explorer and military geographer, will present an illustrated lecture on “Man and the Polar Regions” before the faculty and students of Butler University at 6:30 p.m. May 9 in the Atherton Center. Trophies will be awarded to the winning male and female vocal group. Barbara Voss and Bill Healey are co-chairmen of the program which will conclude with the announcement of new members of 6 Butler honoraries for 1960-61.
