Another Ladies Party on Friday evening, February 26th, will conclude the parties at St. Christopher before Lent. During Lent, the ladies are planning two Fish Dinners in March and one Fish Dinner in April. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 2d. Easter is April 17th. The wives and friends of members of the Holy Name Society will receive corporate Holy Communion with them Sunday at the 8 o’clock Mass. Foil- wing the Mass, breakfast will be served downstairs by an outside caterer. Reservations should be made by Friday. On next Sunday at all the Masses everyone will be given the opportunity to become a member of the Propagation of the Faith, a mission society of the Holy Father himself. Missions all over the world are benefited by these memberships and in turn members share in 30,000 Masses annually and in the prayers and good works of all missioners. Each member is asked to say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and “St. Francis Xavier, pray for us, and pray for the Missions” daily. Congratulations to Alva and Caroline Such of 1601 Crest Drive! Jerry Lee was born Wednesday, February 3d, at the Methodist hospital. Jerry Lee has two brothers and one sister, Alva HI, Letha and Larry. On Tuesday evening at 7:30 the newly elected officers of the CYO were installed—Ron Keller, president, Don Ellison, vice-presi-dent; Kathie Martich, secretary; and Jan Wheasler, treasurer. Youth Council representatives are Don Ellison, Tom Rhein, Mary Ruth Toney, and Nancy Ceme. A record dance followed the installation. Our Lady of Fatima Discussion Group met with Rosemary Boswell on Monday evening at 8:30 o’clock. Mrs. Michael Dwyer was the hostess for the Immaculate Conception Group at 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Ladies are asked to remember the dates for St. Christopher retreat at the Fatima Retreat House in Indianapolis—February 26, 27 and 28—and to contact Mrs. William Meyer, chairman, for reservations. Marion Cbunty Attorneys Marion County attorneys have been invited to hear an address on judicial selection and tenure by Robert A. Leflar, nationally known legal authority, Feb. 18 at part of the mid-winter meeting in Indianapolis of the Indiana State Bar Association. The invitations have been issued by the Indiana University School of Law and the State Bar Association. In addition to all attorneys in the state, Thomas C. Bigley, of Columbus, Bar Association president, has announced invitations have been sent to state legislators and other officials and leaders of industry, labor, agriculture, and business and the public will be welcome. The address by Leflar, who currently is Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas, will be one of the Addison C. Harris Lectures of the

Romeo And Juliet At Jordan The University Symphony Orchestra, Chorale and Ballet of Butler University will be featured in the Jordan College of Music’s presentation of “Three Concepts of Romeo and Juliet” to be presented at 8:30 pan. Union Carbide Declares Ninety Cent Dividend The board of directors of Union Carbide Corporation has declared a quarterly dividend of ninety cents (90c) per share on the outstanding capital stock of the Corporation payable March 1, 1960, to stockholders of record February 5, 1960.
