I.C.C. To Dedicate New Phys. Ed. Building Indiana Central College will dedicate its new $600,000 physical education building with doublebarrelled ceremonies Tuesday, Jan. 19. The first phase will be a special convocation at 9:35 a.m. at which honorary degrees will be conferred upon two alumni who have distinguished themselves as coaches. They are Ray P. Crowe, athletic director at Indianapolis Attucks High School, where he coached two state championship basketball teams, and Harry C. Good, former Indiana Central coach and athletic director who now is an assistant professor of physical education at the University of Nebraska. Speaker at the convocation will be Dr. John E. Horner, who has been president of Hanover College since 1958. At 8 p.m. Indiana Central and Hanover will play the first intercollegiate basketball game in the new gym and the formal dedication ceremony will come during the half-time intermission. It will be presided over by Dr. I Lynd Esch, president of Indiana Central. Since this Tuesday night affair will be the first time the new building, which has 4,200 permanent seats and also has space for 1,800 temporary ones, will be open to the public, all who want to see it and attend the game and dedication program will be admitted without charge. No tickets or formal invitation will be necessary for admission. The new gym is the fourthlargest one owned by any Indiana college. Only those at Butler, Indiana and Purdue Universities are

Cripe, head of Butler University’s speech department, has been named vice-presi-dent of the American Forensics Association. The organization includes some 400 college and high school debate coaches.
