Season tickets at $2.00 have been sold this week at school. Single session tickets, to be sold only at the door, will be 75 cents. Enrollment for second semester adult night classes will be held at 7:30 next Tues, night, Jan. 19, in Room 121 of the high school. Classes will begin the first week in February and will be available in any subject that has an enrollment of at least 12 and for which a teacher can be obtained. Possible classes are Beginning Clothing, Intermediate Clothing, Advanced Clothing, Beginning Typing, Woodworking, Oil Painting, and Current Affairs. The class fee of $5 will be taken the first night each class meets. Speedway debate teams won six debates and lost six debates

in the speech contests at Ball State Teachers College last Saturday. Alice Balmer and Nick Nizamoff were undefeated in three debates. Donna Muncie placed third in girls’ extemporaneous speaking. The Speedway varsity won two games last weekend defeating Beech Grove 75-63 on Friday night and Franklin Township 7258 on Saturday night. The reserves won from Beech Grove by a 39-26 score, and lost a one-pointer to Franklin Township 29-28. The seventh grade team won from Ben Davis 25-12 last week, but lost to Danville 39-23. The eighth grade team lost to Ben Davis 40-18 and to Danville 39-22. The freshman team lost to Ben
