On Sunday afternoon, January 17th, from 1:30 until 5:00 o’clock, the Indianapolis District Council of Catholic Men will have a very important meeting at MariaiKCpflege. John C. Hayes, president of the N.C.C.M., will give an address. Archbishop Paul C. Schulte will attend the meeting. All men of St. Christopher have been invited to attend. , Prayers of the members of the Apostleship of Prayer during January are being offered for the general intention of Pope John XXIII, the religious unity through devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. His Excellency, Most Rev. Paul C. Schulte, called at St. Christopher rectory last week to inform the parish that he will not erect a new parish north of 34th street for the next three or four years, or at least, not as long as St. Michael’s and St. Christopher’s parishes are able to provide class room for the children within the territory. St. Michael’s will probably erect new class rooms this year. St. Christopher may be obliged to make classrooms in the school social room. Pray your Rosary daily for peace in the world. Nora Bray
