On Monday morning at 8 o’clock, Father Lindemann offered up the Anniversary High Mass for Gabriel Russ at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Sinkovich. On Tuesday, the Mrs. J. Fach family requested the Mass be said for Ann Worthington. Father Lindemann offered up the Mass on Wednesday at 8 o’clock for the living and the deceased members of St. Christopher parish. The Mass this morning for Bernard C. Barth was requested by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Yeager and tomorrow the Mass will be for Helena Phillips at the request of Mary Keller. PECANS! PECANS! Yes, the ladies of St. Christopher will sell Pecans again this year—the same delicious nuts as usual from Florida —51.50 a pound. The price is a little higher than last year, because nuts are not plentiful this year, they tell us. six o’clock Sunday evening and the Youth Recognition Dinner at 6:30. After dinner they enjoyed a talk and slides by Father William Stineman on his trip to Mexico. Tuesday night, October 27, the Junior C.Y.O. members took part in the “Rosary on the Air” at WIRE. Wednesday night, October 28th, many St. Christopher C.Y.O.S and parents enjoyed the Annual C.Y.O. banquet at Scecina high school at 6:30. At this dinner the C.Y.O. trophy of the year was presented. On Sunday, November Ist, the Junior C.Y.O. Baking Contest is cheduled in St. Roch’s cafeteria with judging from 2 to 5 in the afternoon. Cake auction will follow and a dance at 7 o’clock. Mrs. Morris Gambrail of St. Christopher is on the committee for entries. St. Christopher Junior C.Y.O. cooperated with the Youth of the Speedway Christian Church in the collection for funds for the UNICEF drive on Wednesday night.
