Hunt, 2006 Cunningham Drive, Speedway, is among a firat-year class of 87 students who will begin studies Monday at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. Dr. Maynard K. Hine, dean of the School of Dentistry, pointed out that the class is larger than the 80 admitted as first-year students last year. Still further expansion of entering classes to meet the Hoosier state’s growing need for dentists is expected with completion next year of an addition to the Dental Building at the I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis. The students come from 34 Hoosier counties, two are women, 29 are married and the average age is 24.

Tri Kappa News Mrs. V. F. McNaughton, president of Epsilon Eta chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa of Speedway and Mrs. E. K. Chadwick and Miss Ann Chadwick attended a tea at Danville, Sunday afternoon, at which Mrs. C. W. Mitchell was the honor guest. Mrs. Mitchell was elected secretary of the State Tri Kappa organization art the convention last April. Hostesses for the tea were the members of both the active and associate chapters of Danville. Mrs. John Knox of Richmond has been appointed Province Officer of Province Four of Tri Kappa. The Richmond Tri Kappas were hostesses for a tea in her honor also on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Russell Petit and Mrs. Robert Faris from the Speedway chapter attended.
