PATRICIA SANDERS Patrica Ann Sanders, 20, 5038 W. McCray, died Monday in General Hospital. Born in Sommerville, N. J., Miss Sanders lived in Indianapolis 18 years. A graduate of Speedway High School, she attended Butler University at year and was employed in the bookkeeping department of General Hospital. Boy Scout Troop 66 News Troop and Explorer Post 66 started their 1959-60 scouting year with a pitch-in dinner. A court of honor was held and all awards earned during the summer and at camp were awarded. Every boy who attended the dinner received at least one advancement. Mr. David Kress the troop committee chairman introduced the new troop committee. Karl Wacker who will be Scoutmaster this year read a letter from Mr. Richard Schilling, who unfortunately could not be at the dinner, reviewing the past years accomplishments. Mr. Schilling has been Scoutmaster for the past 3 years. The troop has had a splendid record under his leadership. Mr. Schilling has been appointed Assistant District Com(Continued on Page 4)

GRANDE-CROSBY - Mr. and Mrs. Herbert F. Grande Jr. left for a honeymoon through the Northwest after their marriage Sat in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The Rev. James A. Hickey performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride, the former Miss Joan Frances Crosby, is the daughter of Mrs. Jack Crosby, 745 North Campbell Avenue, and the late Mr. Crosby. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert F. Grande, 1904 Allison Avenue. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, R. E. Spillman. She wore a gown of embroidered net over taffeta. Her veil was held by a cap of lace, and she carried a prayer book and white orchids, stephanotis and amazonica lilies centered with pink sweetheart roses. Miss Carol Ann Thiel was maid of honor in a royal blue silk organza dress. She carried a cascade of blue Fuji mums and pompons. Mrs. Kenneth D. Young, Mrs. Bruno J. Fiorentin and Miss Carol Sue Beckelheimer were bridesmaids in blue silk organza. A wedding breakfast was held in The Heritage, and the reception was in Lyons Hall.

St. Anthony's Fish Fry St. Anthony’s annual Fish Fry will be held Friday, September 25th, at 379 North Warman Avenue. Troop 557 Brownie Troop 557 started their final year as Brownies with a Mother’s Meeting at the home of their leader, Mrs. Allen E. Miller. Printed plans for the year were presented and discussed by Mrs. Miller and her two co-leaders, Mrs. Robert White and Mrs. William Hendrickson. The meeting day was changed from Wednesday to Thursday in order to avoid the conflict with the youth choirs of the local churches. Included in the fall plans will be a hike to the Meadowood playground, a tour of the Board of Health and a family wienie foast.

Milford Bennett Weds Marilyn Winter Miss Marilyn Kay Winter became the bride of Milford R. Bennett Jr. Sat. in the Speedway Methodist Church. The Rev. Howard E. Wright performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Winter, 5414 West 16 th Street, and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milford R. Bennett, 1754 Gerrard Drive. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of Chantilly lace with full skirt extending into a scalloped-edged Chapel train. The fitted bodice, also had a scalloped shallow square neckline. A while pearl tiara held her veil, and she carried a bouquet of stephanotis and white amazonica lilies centered with pink rosebuds.
Mrs. John R. Albright was honor attendant in an emerald green taffeta dress with a full skirt and velveteen bodice. Bridesmaids were Miss Sue Shaw Cross of Muncie, Miss Carol Fidler and Miss Marilyn Unger. They wore coral colored dresses and carried baskets of pink carnations. Ginny Lee Bennett, sister of the bridegroom, was flower girl in a long coral taffeta dress with lace rosettes. She carried a basket of pink rose petals. Mai McArthur carried the rings.
Mr. Albright performed best man duties, and guests were seated by John R. Hiland, Ralph K. Hillquist of Geneva, Hl., and William A. Bennett, brother of the bridegroom. After the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bride’s parents. The couple is on a honeymoon at Lake Wawasee. Upon return, they will reside at 3442 West 10th Street. The bridegroom is a graduate of General Motors Institute at Flint, Mich., and his wife attended Hanover Colleg. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority.
