The date for the first Fall Ladies Party has been announced. It is for Thursday night, September 17th. Mrs. Morris Gambrell is chairman for the party. Junior C.Y.O. enjoyed a Skating Party at Melody Skateland, 5181 W. Washington street, Tuesday evening this week. Christ the King C.Y.O. are sponsoring a Dance Under the Stars Friday evening, August 28th, from 8 o’clock till eleven. The Twilighters orchestra will play. < Rev. Luke Connolly, C.P., will give the Labor Day Retreat at the Fatima Retreat House in Indianapolis which opens Saturday, September sth, and closes Sunday, September 7th. Our friend and fellow member, trustee and former Holy Name Society president, Leonard Benedetto, would appreciate your votes at the Convention next Tuesday night, August 25th, in the Speedway High School Gymnasium—time 7:30 o’clock. Mr. Benedetto is a candidate for Trustee from Ward 2 for the Town of Speedway. If you want him elected in November, and who don't, then do not fail all you Speedway resident-voters to help him get nominated with die highest number of votes in his Ward Tuesday night. Music pupils at St. Christopher school will also register Tuesday, August 25th, as well as pupils for all grades, from 9 in the morning till noon, and again in the afternoon from 1:30 till 2:30.
