There will be first thru sixth place ribbons in all events. The 200 meter Individual Medley events will be swum Friday, 8-28-59 at 8:00 a.m. The Novice 6 and under and 8 and under events are 25 meters and will be swum Friday, 8-28-59. All other events are 50 meters and will be swuigi Saturday, 8-29-59 with varsity heats starting at 8:00 a.m. Awe’s will be presented at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, 8-29-59 in the Ballroom. The meet is being planned by a committee of three, Nona Kinkead, Dorothy Gowdy and Lee Norquest, Chairman, with the help of the swim team parents.

Baton Clinic Majorettes from five midwest - ern states are slated to participate in Butler University’s annual baton clinic on the campus, August 16-21. The clinic which will attract participants from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky, will be under the direction of Charles Henzie, director of Butler’s Marching Band. Merle Smith of Smith-Waldridge Camp, Syracuse, Ind., will be in charge of the baton instruction. Registration will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 16, in the Women’s Residence Hall.
