Parents desiring to have children baptized are asked to call the church office. The Big All-Church Fish Fry will be held on the church grounds on Friday and Saturday night, August 21 and 22. Proceeds from this year’s Fish Fry will be placed into the Church Building Fund and go towards the new building being planned. Mr. Freeman D. Ketron and Mr. Roy J. Coers are Co-Chairmen of the event. Planning A Washington Trip? Congressman Joseph W. Barr, Uth Indiana District, describes his television show for Friday, August 7, as follows: “Each year about six million people visit Washington. Out of this total there are hundreds of families in Marion County who come back to Washington to show their families the seat of government of the United States. “I moved down here with my wife and five children the first of this year. My children range from 5 to 17. My wife, Beth Ann, has hauled our family through most of the great monuments and historic landmarks here in Washington.
