Y.M.C.A. Camp For Boys Westside YMCA boys from 9 to 16 years of age will have an opportunity of enjoying 10 days of adventure and good times at the Flatrock River YMCA Camp, August 6-16. The dominant purpose of the Camp is to guide campers in the practice of Christian ideals through cooperative living in God’s “great-out-of-doors.” Westside boys are registering now for their period, August 616. The cost for the 10 days which includes the bus trip to Camp Flatrock and return and insurance, is only $32.00. Boys who would like to help pay for part of their Camp fee, and parents who are interested in learning more about Camp Flatrock, are invited to call the Westside Family YMCA, CH. 1-9313. The 1959 YMCA Girls camping period is August 17-27.

Indianapolis Hiking Club The Indianapolis Hiking Club will visit the Morgan-Monroe State Forest on Sunday, August 2. They will meet at 10:00 a.m. on the east side of the State House, take Road 37 to Martinsville, meeting at the Court House at 11:15 a.m., and proceeding from there to the State Forest (old No. 37 between Martinsville and Bloomington). Food is to be taken for a light lunch and evening cookout. This will probably be a rather strenuous hike along rough terrain. Leader: Dave Weedem, ST. 6-9583.
