ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Today the High Mass was offered for William Allen. Patricia Shaw requested the Mass. * The High Mass tomorrow morning will remember Gabriel Russ at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Zupancic. Father Vaccarri visited in St. Christopher parish Sunday and accepted offerings for missionary work. Father Vaccarri represented the Xavieran Missionary Sisters of Mary who have communities in Wisconsin and in Italy. He told of how an American girl founded the Society. Father Vaccarri himself was born in Italy and had been in missionary work for more than thirty years in China, Africa, and other eastern countries. He has been in the United States since last November. Meetings! Meetings! Getting ready for the largest and best St. Christopher Festival ever on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, July 30, 31 and August 1. Mrs. William Hesselgrave (Helen) is general chairman of food and two booths, one offering dolls for sale and the other flowers and ceramics. Mrs. Thomas Wolfla (Mary) is chairman of the CarryOut service. Mrs. Joseph Rosner (Emma Jean) is chairman in charge of the kitchen. Mrs. William Aust (Rosie) is chairman of the dining room and sandwich tent outside. Mrs. Thomas Joyce (Rachel) is chairman of the doll and flowers sales. Dinners will be served downstairs in the dining room, but a little later in the evening a sandwich tent will be opened for serving sandwiches and drinks outdoors. Fried chicken is on the menu for Saturday night. And on Saturday night there will be dancing from 8 to 11 in front of the school. Doesn’t this all sound exciting! Everybody plan to come. Invite your friends and relatives from across town and those close-by to come too. - * Pray your Rosary for peace in the world. Nora Bray
