We beat Westlake Eagles 17-0 with Haettinger and Crandall the battery. In a well played game we beat West Newton 4-2 with Mathews and Crandall forming the battery. Feely, Mathews, Lippard, Amick and Robbins doing most of the stick work. The fielding gem last week was a shoestring catch by Dale Amick. However J. Lippard was playing a fine defensive game at third. Another feature was a fine double play well executed with Urban, Benedetto and Mathews collaborating. The team will draw a bye Tuesday and will play at Stepen Decatur Friday night. We will welcome all rooters and boosters alike.

Lower Food Prices Even though the consumer price index rose .2% between March and April, the average food price dropped .1%. This decline has been continuous since January and makes the food index 3.3 lower than it was a year ago at this time.
