NOW! borrowing money is as easy as putting it in your checking account

... the new revolving personal credit plan that’s just like having a charge account at our bank

Today, just as business firms need revolving credit, so may you—to spread out large seasonal expenses over a period of months or to make advantageous purchases with cash. That’s why we now offer you this new kind of personal credit service. Basically, this is a reserve fund of cash, set aside and always available for your use ... a revolving fund that refills for re-use as you repay. TO ESTABLISH CREDIT... Just fill out an application from our bank. On it you indicate the amount of cash, reserve you want available—say a month’s income, or more. The minimum application is S2OO. When your application is approved, we will let you know promptly the amount of credit reserved for immediate or future use. TO BORROW MONEY... It’s easy to borrow any amount against your revolving credit line —whenever you want—from SIOO up to the limit of your available credit. When we approve your application, we will send you a supply of special "Deposit Request Forms.” To borrow, just fill out and return the Deposit Request Form—indicating the amount you wish deposited to your checking account—and the number of months you wish to repay. If you don’t have a checking account, we will open one for you with all or any part of your approved line of credit—whatever amount you specify. JUST WRITE YOUR OWN CHECK... We will notify you promptly—usually by return mail—that the amount you requested has been deposited in your personal checking account. Then you can use the money to buy things or pay bills, just by writing your own checks. BORROW AGAIN-WHEN YOU WANT You can borrow SIOO or more—within your available credit—at any time, even though a previous loan has not been completely repaid. Simply fill out another Deposit Request Form for the new loan. The balance of your outstanding loan is paid off as specified by you in your new deposit form. You don’t have to make out a new application each time you borrow. LIFE INSURANCE PROTECTION... Your family is protected by insurance on your life for an amount equal to the unpaid balance of loans, not exceeding $5,000, at no additional cost to you.

vanced. A special class that might be for you is the Synchronized Swimming Class. In this class you will learn new skills in graceful swimming and stunts in the water. Call the Central Branch YWCA, ME. 5-5471 for complete details of all classes for women in the evenings.

April Is Cancer Month April is Cancer Month throughout the country, according to G. E. Richardson, president of the Little Red Door, Marion County Cancer Society. He states that the Little Red Door will conduct a public education program during the month instead of a fund campaign since it is a member of

the United Fund of Greater Indianapolis. United Fund contributions are used for cancer research, education and service to cancer patients in Marion County. Last year nursing care, equipment, surgical dressings and comfort items were given by the Little Red Door to 572 local cancer patients. Mr. Richardson said that the Marion County slogan during April is “Fight Cancer With a Checkup Today.” He pointed out that every doctor’s office is a cancer detection center and that one half of all cancers can be detected by direct examination.

OTHER IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES... You use your own personal checks! You use the money you borrow simply by writing checks on your own personal checking account. That way, your privacy is completely protected... no one need ever know about the loan except you and the bank. Payments are automatically deducted from your checking account! There’s no payment book to bother about. You don’t have to mail each monthly payment. Instead, the bank charges your checking account with the payment due each month. You save the postage. You choose your own repayment plan! No matter how large your loan may be, you choose the monthly payment that best fits your personal budget. You are free to repay the loan in advance if you wish. Low cost! When you borrow, loan charges are made at the rate of 1% per month on the unpaid loan balance. For example, this amounts to $6.50 for each SIOO loan repayable in 12 equal monthly installments. There are no other charges of any kind. If you don’t use it, it costs you nothing.

SPEEDWAY BAPTIST CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Deuel preach to us as Supply Pastor. Brother Deuel is a ministerial student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary at Louisville and brought us two very fine messages Sunday. We hope to have him come back as Supply Pastor on Sundays when a pastorial candidate cannot fill the pulpit. Next Sunday Rev. Floyd Hooyer, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church in Carthage, Texas, will be here to bring the message at both the morning and evening worship services. Brother Hoover, a pastorial candidate, will arrive on Friday and will be with us until Monday. It is hoped that each of you will have an opportunity to become acquainted with him. A dinner and social gathering has been planned for Sunday, after the morning service. Make your plans to be there and get to know Brother Hoover. On Saturday morning a work project under the able leadership of Brother Verne Walker has been planned to get the church lawn leveled and seeded. The presence of your shovels, rakes, seeders, and especially yourselves will be more than appreciated.
