SPEEDWAY METHODIST CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Immanuel Choir will sing the Anthem, “Watch And Pray” by Ringwald. At the 10:45 o’clock service the Chancel Choir will sing the Anthem, “O Sacred Head Now Wounded,” by Bach. Immanuel Choir will rehearse on Sunday, February 15, at 5:00 p.m., at the church. Intermediate M.Y.F. will Sunday, February 15, at 6:00 p.m., at Wesley House. Last Sunday several members of our M.Y.F. enjoyed attending the District meeting at Frankfort. Thanks to Natalie McClelland and Mr. Anderson for transportation. Next Sunday, February 15, we will have a dessert auction at our regular meeting. All parents are invited. Every one is to bring a serving of dessert to be auctioned. A fine program and an evening of fun is being planned. See you Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m., at the church. Methodist Men’s Club “Sweetheart Dinner” will be held on Monday, February 16th, at 6:15 p.m., at the Wesley Methodist Church. Contact any club officer for tickets by February 12. Amity, Felicity, and Sunshine Circle will meet on Tuesday, February 17, at 7:30 p.m., at the church with Mrs. Marian Miller, Mrs. Orval Thrush, Mrs. Robert Haskell, Mrs. Marlin Adams, and Mrs. Richard Allen as hostesses. Third Session of the Additional Sessions for children in the first through the sixth grades of our Church School will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 3:15 p.m., at the church. Theme: “Alaska.” Fellowship and Instruction for in-coming members will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 7:30 p.m., at Wesley House. Special Membership Training Classes will be held during Lent for children and youth desiring to be received into the church on Easter. All young people of sth grade age and older, who desire to join these classes, are asked to leave their names at the Church Office. A 12 Hour Prayer Vigil will be held in the sanctuary from 8:30 p.m., Saturday, February 28, to 8:30 a.m., Sunday, March 1. Members of the congregation are invited and encouraged to register on the chart, provided in the rear of the sanctuary. Kindly indicate the time during the night when you will be coming to the church to pray.
