Outstanding awards have been arranged for student winners in the Jaycees’ My True Security competition. A national activity of the U. S. Jaycees, the local project is sponsored by the Speedway Junior Chamber of Commerce. Winner of the local high school elimination will receive a trophy and will be sent to Indianapolis for the Marion county finals. The Marion county winner will receive a SSOO scholarship and will be entered in the state contest to compete for a trophy and an allexpense trip to the National Awards Program in Washington, D. C., in July. The national first-place winner will receive a SIOOO scholarship. Two co-equal runners-up will also be selected, and will each eceive SSOO scholarships. My True Security is a scriptwriting and deliveiy competition. Seniors in the local high school are eligible to compete. Complete project information is now available through Mr. Burns at Speedway High School and through Jack Fuller, local Jaycee Committee Chairman. Local finals will be held the last week in February.
