Concert At Butler The Butler University Symphony, directed by Igor Buketoff, will present a unique concert at 8:30 p.m. (CDT) Friday, Jan. 30, in Caleb Mills Hall of Shortridge High School. This will be the first program to be presented any place in the world, featuring music from the World Music Bank, a new joint project of the American Symphony Orchestra League and the Rockefeller Foundation. The program will include one composition from each of the Scandinavian countries: Ludwig Jensen from Norway, Lars-Erik Larsson from Sweden, Niels Bentzan from Denmark and Eino Rautavaara from Finland. The idea of the Music Bank was instigated at the 1956 National Convention of the American Symphony League and developed by Mr. Buketoff. Following this meeting, Mr. Buketoff went to Europe to enlist support for the Music Bank program. He found musicians eager to become acquainted with the best contemporary writings of other countries and thus evolved the simple practical plan of asking distinguished juries in each country to select small lists of works,

Six Basketball Championship Games To Be On TV Six championship games in the Indiana high school basketball tourney played at Butler Fieldhouse will be presented on television this year. Commissioner L. V. Phillips of the Indiana High School Athletic Association said Indiana Bell Telephone Company again will be sponsor of the programs on WFBM-TV. He said the - championship games in the sectional, regional and semi-state tournaments on February 28, March 7 and March 14 will be telecast, as will all three games in the March 21 finals. This will be the seventh year Indiana Bell has presented the tourney games on television.

Saturday Morning Program For Girls Girls, on Saturday mornings you can have a wonderful time with other girls your age, at the Central Branch YWCA, while your mother does her shopping downtown.
